What is Personal contract hire?
Personal car leasing is a really popular way for individuals to drive a brand-new car without the long-term commitment of car ownership. Sometimes called personal contract hire (PCH), it works a bit like a rental agreement where you make fixed monthly payments to use the car for an agreed period of time, usually between 18 and 48 months.
Personal contract hire differs from Business contract hire by the nature of how the car is used. It’s quite straightforward – if you’re using the car for personal use then you’ll need a personal lease, while if you need a company car to use for your business then it’s a business lease that you’re after.
